Lot Description
H.G. Fitz 4 1/8 inch telescope and tripod. Length of body tube 53 in. 19th century. 

Having finderscope, lens cap, and original tripod (72 in., damage to one leg brace).
Brass, wood, and plaster body tube (split in wood body tube, damage to interior).
Eyepiece engraved "H.G. Fitz, N.Y." Believed to have been made by Fitz's son, Harry Giles "Henry" Fitz (ca 1847-1939).
