[CIVIL WAR]. Mammoth plate ambrotype of ten well-armed Union soldiers.
8 3/4 x 6 3/4 in. (visible area) mammoth plate ambrotype portrait presenting a group of 10 soldiers carrying P53 Enfield rifle-muskets (clarity and contrast very good, few spots to surface, significant damage to lower portion of plate, including large crack across bottom fourth and several small cracks at lower left which have been partially repaired with tape). Housed in 12 3/4 x 9 3/4 in. frame (some chipping).
