[WASHINGTON, George (1732-1799)]. George Washington centennial birth anniversary ribbon. 1832.
9 x 2 5/8 in. sky blue ribbon (fraying and loss to upper and lower edges, with fading and spots of discoloration throughout; tipped in to loose yellow scrapbook page). Ribbon features a portrait of Washington at center, with text commemorating his life's work and announcing the centennial anniversary of his birth on 22 February 1832.
