[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 4 ninth plate tintypes of Union soldiers, most armed with pistols and knives, including:
Portrait of a soldier wearing his uniform including hat with company insignia "E," armed with a pistol and knife in his belt. (Creases and a few spots of los, spotting to mat and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a half case. -- Portrait of a startled-looking soldier in full uniform, armed with a knife in his belt. (Image rather dark, with some splotching and soiling; unsealed.) Housed in a broken half case. -- And 2 others, including a possible private wearing civilian clothing and holding a plumed hat. -- Together, 4 ninth plate tintypes of soldiers.
