** Pre-War Winchester Model 70 in .375 H&H Magnum by Elrod/Hughes Gunmakers

.375 H&H. 24" barrel length. SN: 18870 (mfg. ca.1939). Blued metal finish. Figured walnut stock has multi-point checkering to semi pistol grip and forearm, with ebony forend and blued steel grip cap. Bolt action rifle with adjustable express notch rear sight, hooded blade front sight with stippling, and a Leupold LPS 1.5-6x42mm scope. Item features an internal box magazine, double sling swivels, Decelerator rubber recoil pad, and a Butler Creek lens cover. Barrel is marked Elrod/Hughes Gunmakers. Includes a black nylon sling.

Condition Report

Very good. Bore is bright. Finish is strong overall. Wood stock has a few light scratches to right side. Scope is clear.
