A Chinese White Jade Snuff Bottle
19TH CENTURY
清中期 白玉素面鼻烟壺
the pale stone carved to an elongated teardrop-form body with a bulbous base over a straight foot, flanked beneath the straight neck with carvings imitating ring handles suspended from animal-head masks, tiger's eye stopper. 
Height of bottle 3 1/8 in., 8 cm.
Property from The Strong National Museum of Play, sold to benefit the Collections Fund
Accessioned by the Strong in 1978.

In overall very good attractive and stable condition. Spoon and stopper present and intact. Handwritten accession number at the recessed base.
