Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 .32 Frame Top Break

.32 S&W Short. 3.5" barrel length. SN: 64617. Nickel plated finish overall mounting Smith & Wesson monogram black hardrubber birdshead grips. Single action top-break automatic ejector revolver with spur trigger and five-shot fluted cylinder. Sights consist of a pinned half-circle front blade and latch mounted rear notch. Top of the barrel shows a two-line address and patent mark reading SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT'D JAN. 17 & 24. 65/JULY 11. 65. AUG. 24. 69. FEB. 20. 1877. REISSUE JULY 25. 1871. with further patent markings to the topstrap reading PAT'D APR. 20. 73/& DEC. 18. 1877. Serial numbers match on all parts.

Condition Report

Very Good. Bore is Dark with weak rifling and oxidation forming throughout. Metal finish shows edgewear overall with some flaking of the nickel on the cylinder and forcing cone, along with a thinning milky sheen to the nickel overall. Brown patina forming in all losses along the edges. Grips show some scattered mars and scratches with a nick on the rear edge of the left panel and some flat spots on the right. Action displays good timing.
