Pamela M. Iacobelli is an innovative, effective and collaborative executive with nearly three decades of expertise in growing and strengthening non-profit and for-profit organizations through community partnerships and engagement. Iacobelli served as president and CEO of Detroit-based CultureSource, a membership organization committed to strengthening Southeast Michigan’s non-profit arts and culture through advocacy, capacity-building programs and marketing resources. Her strategic direction included rebranding the organization, all member programs and services and creating two media partnerships reaching 6 million potential participants. Through her leadership, event attendance grew 13% year-over-year, social media traffic increased 26% and member retention was 88% – higher than the national average for similar organizations.
Her previous non-profit executive experience includes leading the Birmingham Bloomfield (MI) Chamber of Commerce as President and CEO. She was also Senior Director for the Regional Economic Partnerships and for Technology and Business Services with the Detroit Regional Chamber earlier in her career.
In the for-profit space, Iacobelli most recently served as Director of Business Development and Marketing at Bodman PLC, a 140- attorney firm with five offices across Michigan. Her signature programs included an annual coaching program for high-performing attorneys and a firm-wide cross-selling strategy. She was also responsible for identifying board placement opportunities for Bodman attorneys. Prior to this, she was the Regional Marketing Senior Manager at PwC for Detroit, Toledo and Grand Rapids.
This followed Iacobelli’s tenure as Senior Vice President of Regional Marketing and Community Engagement at Huntington National Bank in SE Michigan. Establishing the annual Lemonade Day Detroit program was a career highlight, which brought thousands of metro Detroit residents and their children together to support entrepreneurship and fundraise for more than 50 charities.
Iacobelli earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications from Western Michigan University. She is a graduate of Leadership Oakland and the Center for Creative Leadership at Duke University.
