Hindman’s St. Louis office and salesroom provides full auction and estate services throughout Missouri and neighboring communities. Since opening our St. Louis office in 2014, we have been committed to recognizing the rich history of art in the city, and to promoting locally significant collections within our community. St. Louis is served by specialists in all departments including Fine Art, Jewelry, Furniture and Decorative Arts, Modern Design, Luxury Accessories and Couture, and more. Our office accepts consignments for over 100 auctions a year that reach a global audience of collectors.
Anna Shaver is the Consignment Manager for the St. Louis branch of Hindman.
Ms. Shaver is responsible for opening the regional office in 2014 and expanding the firm’s presence in the city. In her role, Ms. Shaver, manages and evaluates a variety of property on a daily basis, including fine art, decorative arts, furniture and silver. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis. Ms. Shaver received her Master’s in the History of Art & Architecture from the University of Limerick, Ireland and has a Bachelor’s in Art History and Gender Studies from Loyola University Chicago.
Joan Wagner is Vice President for the Midwest region at Hindman.
She leads the business development teams in Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee and the greater Midwest, working with executors, fiduciaries and beneficiaries for appraisals and disposition services in addition to serving a broad network of private clients in need of asset and collection management. Her prior experience includes serving as a Managing Director of CIBC Private Wealth, and Director, Citi Private Bank. Ms. Wagner received a B.A. in Art History from Wellesley College and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. She has served on boards of leading cultural institutions including the Auxiliary Board and Old Master’s Society Boards of The Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Wellesley Club.
