Timeless Treasures: Freeman’s | Hindman Presents Premier Watches Auction on November 15 in New York
On November 15, Freeman’s | Hindman invites collectors and enthusiasts to participate in the firm’s premier Watches auction, featuring a selection of highly coveted timepieces. The sale, taking place for the first time at Freeman’s | Hindman’s boutique location at 32 East 67th Street in New York, will offer live and online bidding, making it accessible to a global audience.
The auction highlights an impressive lineup of iconic models, including the Rolex Daytona, Submariner, and GMT-Master, as well as Patek Philippe’s Aquanaut and Nautilus, and Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak.
“It is our pleasure to present a collection of blue-chip watches, many complete with box and papers, for the discerning collector,” said Reginald Brack, Senior Vice President, Head of Department, Watches. “We are also proud to feature 40 watches from the Collection of a Meticulous Chicago Collector, whose exceptional taste will captivate both new and seasoned collectors alike. Many of his vintage pieces are considered new old stock, in pristine and unworn condition, from iconic IWC Caliber 89s, to a 1966 two-tone Rolex Datejust with razor-sharp edges and with its unmolested, large Rolex foil sticker still in-tact on the case back.”

Lot 11 | PATEK PHILIPPE, REF. 565 18K YELLOW GOLD 'CALATRAVA' WATCH Estimate: $15,000 – 25,000 Fresh to the market from a private St. Louis collection, this Ref. 565 is offered by the original owner. Introduced in 1938 and produced until 1952, this model was Patek Philippe’s first large water-resistant watch, with a two-piece case featuring a screw back and dust cover.
Lot 100 | ROLEX, REF. 5514 STAINLESS STEEL 'COMEX SUBMARINER' WATCH Estimate: $60,000 – 80,000 This rare Submariner, from a private Southwestern collection, was specially commissioned in the 1970s by COMEX, the pioneering industrial diving company.
