6 x 3 1/8 in. stereoview on cardstock mount (image with a bit of wear to bottom edge, mount with some surface soiling and edge wear). Mount recto with Pittman's imprint. Verso with affixed paper label featuring image title, extended subject description, and Pittman's imprint, with modern ink date to lower right. Image features the interior of the Catacomb at the National Lincoln Monument, with the sarcophagus "just as it appeared when thieves attempted to rob it on the night of November 7, 1876. After standing open two days the coffin was pushed back, and the end piece and lids replaced."
