Lot Description
[UNITED CONFEDERATE VETERANS]. Outdoor group portrait of UCV members including musicians.

9 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. albumen photograph on cardstock mount (heavy losses to mount, creasing at short tears at edges). 

A group of approximately 26 older Confederate veterans are seated on a hillside. Many hold canes and wear ribbons or badges. In the front row, two musicians are seated with a drum and piccolo. Near center, a veteran with a leg amputation holds a crutch, and wears a badge on his uniform and hat with a UCV hat badge.
