[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 7 CDVs of Union officers and personalities of the period, comprising: 

Alfred Pleasonton. New York: Brady, Anthony, 1862. Pleasonton (1824-1897) was a major general of volunteers who commanded Cavalry Corps of the Army of the Potomac during the Gettysburg Campaign, including the largest cavalry battle of the war, Brandy Station. -- Hugh Judson Kilpatrick. Uncredited view. Kilpatrick (1836-1881) was a Union cavalry commander. He later served as the United States Minister to Chile. -- William H. Seward (1801-1872), Lincoln's Secretary of State. Washington, DC: Alexander Gardner, n.d. (top left edge of print slightly separated from mount, some fading to print). -- Joseph Hooker. New York: Brady, Anthony, n.d. 2-cent revenue stamp to verso. Hooker (1814-1879), Commander of the Army of the Potomac until his defeat by General Robert E. Lee at Chancellorsville in 1863. -- George McClellan. Boston, MA: J.W. Black, n.d. McClellan (1826-1885) led the Union army in Virginia in the 1862 Peninsula Campaign. He failed to maintain the trust of President Lincoln who removed him from command in November 1862. -- Henry W. Halleck (after lithograph/engraving). Washington: Mathew Brady, n.d. (trimmed corners). Halleck (1815-1872) served as General in Chief of the Union Armies 1862-1864. -- Don Carlos Buell. Philadelphia, PA: J.E. McClees, 1862. Buell (1818-1898) led Union armies in two great Civil War battles, Shiloh and Perryville.

Together, 7 CDVs, 2 1/8 x 3 1/2 in., or smaller, on cardstock mounts. Condition generally good to very good overall.
