Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Cartridge box with tins, possibly Confederate. 

Cartridge box with approx. 8 1/ x  5 1/8 in. outer flap and sewn latch tab (some surface wear and a few pinholes to leather, otherwise in rather good shape; latch tab is entirely in buff leather). Interior tins 7 x 3 1/4 x 2 7/8 in. Buckles, latch tab, and brass finial present. 

Provenance: Purchased from S.E.L.L. Antiques, Salt Lake City, UT. (business card with box).
