Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. A group of GAR badges and brochure, comprising: 

Society of the Army of the Cumberland Seventh Annual Re-Union, Pittsburgh, September 17th and 18th, 1873. N.p., 1873. 2 3/8 x 5 3/8 in. printed silk ribbon (separations, small stains). 

Grand Re-Union G.A.R. Aug. 3rd 1886. San Francisco California. Buffalo: Matthews, Northrup & Co., [1888]. 4 x 8 in. printed pamphlet (soiling, appears to be lacking a panel). 

Annual Reunion, Co. D, 122nd Reg't O.V.I. Sept 5, 1902, Trinway, Ohio. 2 x 3 in. printed card with an enameled metal boot-shaped trinket suspended from white and red ribbons.

39th National Encampent G.A.R. Denver Sept. 1905. Diam. 2 3/4 in. bronze medallion (minor soil); with original cardstock box (separations, wear at extremities). Obverse features Pike's Peak. Reverse features the legend: "39th National Encampment G.A.R. Denver Spt. 1905" with a laurel wreath and the further legend: "In honor of the brave men who victoriously defended the Union on Land and Sea during the War of the Great Rebellion 1861-1865"
 
Springfield, IL 1932. 46th National Convention Ladies of the G.A.R. Newark, NJ: Whitehead & Hoag Co., [1932]. Approx. 1 3/4 x 4 in. two-piece badge with gilt-printed yellow silk ribbon (separations on ribbon). Suspension bar features profile portrait of Lincoln. T-bar to reverse. 

Two-piece GAR membership badge with American flag ribbon. Approx. 1 5/8 x 3 3/4 in. (ribbon separated at bottom fold with further separations). Star planchet stamped "W4984" possibly indicating that the medal was struck from a captured Confederate cannon. 

Two-piece GAR membership badge with red-bordered American flag ribbon. Approx. 1 5/8 x 3 3/4 in. (ribbon separting, some darkening to metal).
