William H. Woodrow enlisted on 29 May 1862 as a corporal and mustered in on 10 June 1862 into Company C of the 84th Ohio Infantry. He mustered out on 20 September 1862 at Camp Delaware. Was a member of GAR Post #28 (Ulysses S. Grant) in Chicago.
