26 Annual Reunion ribbons from the 120th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, spanning the 20th Reunion in 1888 to the 59th Reunion in 1927, without duplications except for the 22nd Annual Reunion ribbon. Conditions vary, but most with some soil, fraying of edges, and/or discoloration.
[With:] A small assortment of additional ephemera including: 120th OVI ribbon from the 35th National Encampment; Wayne County Centennial, Wooster, Ohio, Soldiers'Day ribbon, 13 August 1896; a GAR ribbon from Bailey Post No.67 North Troy, VT; an official souvenir button from the 36th National Encampment, October 6-10, 1902; ribbon from Wayne County Fourth Annual Reunion, Soldiers and Sailors Association, Wooster, Ohio, Wednesday, October 17, 1900; a ribbon for the 13th Army Corps 35th National Encampment; and a ribbon from the "McKinley Club, Wooster."
The 120th OVI was organized at Mansfield, Ohio, and mustered in for three years service in August 1862. The regiment participated in engagements at Chicaksaw Bayou, Arkansas Post, Port Gibson, the Siege of Vicksburg, and in the Red River Campaign.
