5 pages, folio, 8 1/4 x 13 3/8 in. blue paper, some offsetting. Undersigned and sealed. Docketed to the verso.
A marriage indenture between Miller Woodson McCraw, Jr. (1802-1870) and Nancy Virginia (nee Bass) Saunders (1800-1874) which details the handling of their estates in different scenarios, especially Nancy's large estate that included "Negroes." This would be McCraw's third marriage and Saunders's second.
