In overall fine and stable condition.  Appears to retain the original drawer pulls, though the central drop pull may be replaced. The case retaining a fairly even, seemingly historic surface.  The top has an old repaired crack through it, consistent with how it would have been made and shrunk over time. The top has also been refinished and shows repeated 1" diameter circles of uneven finish.  The top was detached and moved back about 1" from its original placement, but appears to be the original top to the case. There are two associated 3/4" plugs near the back of the top where it joins the rear board of the case.  Knee returns may be early replacements. Each of the rear feet shows losses or cracks, but likely from the time they were originally carved; these issues are not visible when the piece is upright and against the wall.  Small loss to the bottom of the brass escutcheon on the top drawer. Two of the bottom drawers show old losses to the top molded edge of each drawer face.  Previously fitted with drop finials, though these appear to have been lost long ago, or never finished by the cabinetmaker.
