Quarter plate portrait of a mother holding hands with her toddler daughter, both of them smiling. (Tarnishing to edges, minor blemishes otherwise, spotting to preserver; resealed.) Housed in a separated pressed paper case (fully separated at spine, surface wear). -- Quarter plate portrait of a seated man with prominent facial hair and hairstyle, posed together with 3 young boys, likely his sons. (tarnishing to edges, some spotting to plate; unsealed.) Housed in a floral Union case (some looseness to top hinge, heavy surface soiling, light chipping, loose closure). -- Sixth plate portrait of a woman and little boy, posed sitting arm-in-arm, the boy wearing what appears to be a velvet smoking cap with tassel and holding a walking stick. (Light tarnish to edges, some softness to focus throughout; resealed 1998.) Housed under mat and glass only, no preserver, no case. -- And 15 others, including 3 quarter plate examples and 12 sixth plate examples. -- Together, 18 daguerreotype portraits of parents and children.
