[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY] 6 daguerreotype portraits of children with hats, incl. 2 images of the same girl
A pair of sixth plate portraits featuring the same young girl wearing a hat and blue-tinted ribbon around her neck, posing in different outfits. (Tarnishing around edges, spotting to images; partially sealed, no preservers present.) Both housed in full leatherette cases (moderate wear including heavy surface scratching). -- Sixth plate standing portrait of a young boy wearing a patterned shirt and trousers, holding a straw hat down to his side. (Tarnishing, clouding, and weeping throughout, oxidation to mat; unsealed.) Housed in a separated leatherette case (fully separated at spine, with significant wear throughout). -- And 3 other sixth plate portraits. -- Together, 6 daguerreotype portraits of children posed with hats.
