[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 3 Mascher stereoscope or magnifying cases wtih daguerreotypes and ambrotypes

Stereo daguerreotype comprising a pair of ninth plate portraits of a well-dressed gentleman seated at a table. (Tarnishing to edges, spotting throughout; retains portion of original seals.) Housed in a full Mascher case (surface wear, non-functioning closure). Penciled note behind image reads "S.[?].B. / Taken in May 1858."-- Stereo ambrotype comprising a pair of ninth plate portraits of a gentleman sitting at a table and resting his elbow on a small book. (Left image with significant loss including portions of subject's face and body; unsealed.) Housed in a full Mascher case (gilt lettering completely worn off, missing pull ribbon, general wear). -- Sixth plate ambrotype portrait of a woman and baby. (Good clarity, minor imperfections; unsealed.) Housed in a full Mascher magnifying case (separation with repair to spine, misalignment, missing pull ribbon, magnifier partly loose, significant surface wear throughout). Paper attached to back of image stamped for J.K. Thompson, Easton, PA. -- Together, 3 Mascher cases containing images.
