[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - TINTYPES]. A group of 5 tintypes with western, military, and patriotic themes.
A group of 5 tintypes with western, military, and patriotic themes, including:

A trio of loose sixth plate tintype portraits of men posed against the same painted lighthouse backdrop with firearms and/or American flags. (Minor blemishes to first two images, the third with dents, creases, and more significant blemishes/spots of loss to plate; wear to edges of each.) All housed in paper sleeves, 2 of which are attached to a small blue folding album (third paper sleeve completely separated from album). -- A pair of loose sixth plate tintypes appearing to show the same actor, wearing an Indian costume in one and dressed in western garb in another. (Surface scratching, bits of loss, and heavy wear including clipping to edges.) One housed in a torn paper sleeve. The actor is equipped with multiple knives and holds a musket in the "western" themed photograph. -- Together, 5 tintypes.
