Lot Description
[EPHEMERA]. A group of 57 RPPCs & photographs of stagecoaches, wagons, and horse-drawn vehicles.

Approx. 39 real photo postcards, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in., or smaller, many unused, and 18 silver gelatin photographs, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in., or smaller. Many of the scenes are identified in the negative. 

Highlighted titles/scenes include: Street car in Nebraska City, NE. -- Soldiers on a horse-drawn wagon on the Hawaiian Islands. -- Cowgirls on horseback. -- A horse-drawn vehicle at Fryeburg, ME, 1914. -- Multiple views of horse-drawn delivery wagons. -- Sheridan Stampede. -- Image of an early delivery truck. -- Bullock cart carrying two people. -- Multiple photographs of stagecoaches, several with ink stamp of BNP / Bev N. Powers on verso (not RPPCs). 

Together, 57 images, mostly real photo postcards. Condition generally good to very good. Some with edge wear, toning, and album residue to verso.
