Oval bust portrait of Chief Justice Morrison R. Waite featuring clipped signature ("M[?] very best M.R. Waite.") Washington, DC: Burgess, n.d. (adhesive residue to left side of clipped signature, toning, heavy surface soiling throughout, wear to all edges and corners). Burgess' imprint on verso along with pencil inscriptions and handstamp identifying the card to the collection of Charles B. Hall. -- Half portrait of Waite. New York: Fredricks, 1888 (light toning, surface soil, light wear to mount edges and corners). Fredricks' pictorial imprint to verso along with penciled identification. -- Composite view of the 9 Supreme Court justices comprising "the Waite Court" (1874-1877), including Joseph P. Bradley, Stephen J. Field, Samuel F. Miller, Nathan Clifford, Morrison R. Waite, Noah Swayne, David Davis, William Strong, and Ward Hunt. Washington, DC: Brady, n.d. (light toning, surface soil, wear to mount edges and corners). Captioned and credited in image. Brady's imprint on verso. -- Together, 3 cabinet cards, each 3 3/4 x 5 5/8 in. or smaller, on cardstock mounts.
