Signed in type by Isaiah Ryders, a prominent figure in Democratic politics of the 1840s and 1850s, closely associated with Tammany Hall. -- Prospectus for a Democratic Paper at the City of Manchester. The Union Democrat. Manchester, NH: W.H. Gilmore & Co., 1851. 8 3/8 x 13 7/8 in. broadside on blue paper. -- Union! Strength!! Victory!!!...Cincinnati Platform. Tammany Society, or Columbian Order. Tammany Hall, New York, 16 June 1856. 7 7/8 x 9 7/8 in. broadside (adhesive residue to verso). Signed in type by Grand Sachem Lorenzo B. Shepard and others. An invitation to July 4th celebrations. -- Democratic 1868 ballot. [Indiana], [1868]. Approx. 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 in. printed ballot (dampstains, brown spots, toning). Listing electors including John R. Coffroth (1828-1895) and Bayless W. Committee of Safety to Prevent More Dudleyism. [Indianapolis]: N.p., [1888]. 6 1/4 x 10 1/4 in. printed broadside (toned, small chips at edges). Signed in type by Eb. Henderson and Sim. Coy. RARE: No known copies. An unknown hand inscribed "1886", however, the broadside likely dates from the 1888 election controversy in Indiana. -- Together, 7 broadsides and publications related to the Democratic Party and Tammany Hall in the 19th century.
