Many of the scenes are identified in the negative. California cities and towns such as Empire, Columbia, Lemon Grove, Sonoma, Drum, Laton, Julian, Volcano, Soledad, Truckee, Dunsmuir, Pittsburg, Eureka, Fresno, Monterey, Taft, Palm Springs, Loma Linda, El Centro, Jackson, Victorville, and Riverside are represented in the collection.
