[CALIFORNIA]. A group of approx. 118 RPPCs of small towns & cities in California.

The lot is comprised of approx. 117 postcards, mostly real photo postcards, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in., or smaller, several unused, and 1 panoramic print of Klamath, CA, 10 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. Many of the scenes are identified in the negative. California cities and towns such as Empire, Columbia, Lemon Grove, Sonoma, Drum, Laton, Julian, Volcano, Soledad, Truckee, Dunsmuir, Pittsburg, Eureka, Fresno, Monterey, Taft, Palm Springs, Loma Linda, El Centro, Jackson, Victorville, and Riverside are represented in the collection. 

Highlighted titles/scenes include: Multiple views of storefronts. -- Beach and swimming scenes. -- The Livery and Feed Yard in Laton, CA, with message on back which references Henry Dalton going to jail. -- Pioneer Saloon, Columbia, CA. -- A dilapidated structure captioned "Relics of 49, Timbuctoo, CA." -- Blue Wing Hotel, Sonoma, CA. -- P.G. & E. Hospital, Drum, CA. -- Picnic in Fresno, CA. -- Multiple views of Death Valley Scotty and his castle. -- View of the Gem Theatre.

Together, approx. 118 real photo postcards and photograph. Condition generally good to very good. Some with edge wear, toning, and album residue to verso.
