Lot Description
Chanel Haute Couture Embroidered Gold Net and Lamé Jacket, 1930s


Gold lamé and net jacket embellished with appliqued patches of gold lamé that are embroidered with two sizes of gold pearls and glass beads. The main part of the jacket is made of gold net, the sleeves are made of gold lamé, and the collar is made of a mix of gold lamé and net. The jacket is cut with a stand collar, 3/4-length sleeves, and no closure at the open center front.

Condition Report

Condition:

The overall condition is good with a hole in the net at the right center back waist that is approximate 1" in length. There is one broken pearl at the center back hem, wear in the lamé at the sleeve hem, and popped stitches in the seam of the net under the right sleeve.
