Elsa Schiaparelli Skirt Suit, 1950s


Light and dark grey wool skirt suit. The jacket is cut with a shawl collar, long sleeves, slip pocket over each hip, and a center front single button closure. The jacket is lined with fabric woven with the initials "ES", for Elsa Schiaparelli. The skirt is cut straight and with darts into the waistband with a zip closure.
