12 x 17 1/2 in. printed broadside, matted and housed in 17 1/2 x 23 1/2 in. frame using archival materials (soiling, spotting, creasing, few holes, loss to lower right edge and corner, unexamined outside frame). Undersigned in type by H.M. Kidder, Recruiting Officer.
The recruitment broadside features an engraving at center of Union cavalrymen leading the charge, credited to Baker, Chicago. Those who answered this call would join the Yates Ironsides in the US Regular Army, commanded by Colonel D.P. Hancock.
