22 x 18 in. poster (some creasing throughout, small puncture near center repaired with adhesive on verso, ink transfer and some toning on verso). Printed by Graphic Arts of Marin County.
Credited lower left to "Emory, Revolutionary Artist," the poster features a quote from Chairman Mao at top, stating in part, "...We do not want war: but war can only be abolished through war and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun." Below, Douglas presents a dramatic depiction of five subjects of various races brandishing different weapons, including a Native American subject at right with a tohahawk at the ready.
