[REVOLUTIONARY WAR]. 3 documents, incl. signatures from Jonathan ARNOLD and Jeremiah OLNEY. 


ARNOLD, Jonathan (1741-1793), noted statesman from New England, physician and surgeon in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Manuscript document signed ("Jon Arnold"). Providence, RI, 11 October 1773. One page, 7 5/8 x 3 1/2 in. (light spotting). Appears to reference medicines for a client's grand-daughter. 

OLNEY, Jeremiah (1749-1812), Colonel in the Continental Army, a founding member, treasurer president of the Rhode Island chapter. Manuscript document signed ("Jereh. Olney"). Custom House District, Providence, 7 November 1795. One page, 8 x 7 in. (toning, light soiling, some edge wear). Olney references a bond originally enclosed with the letter (but not included in the lot) of Col. John Cook. 

BARNES, David L. Autograph letter signed ("David L. Barnes"), addressed to Brigadier General Goodwin. Taunton, 25 August 1790. Barnes updates the general regarding a colonel that has recently resigned. One page, 7 1/4 x 9 3/4 in. (some chipping, loss to edges and hole near left margin of letter).
