Sixth plate seated portrait of an older man wearing a tall top hat and holding a walking stick. (Significant tarnishing to edges, light spotting/clouding to image; mount seal broken and held together by blue tape.) Mount verso with faint ink inscription identifying the sitter as "J/G[?]. L. Rousseau." -- Sixth plate seated portrait of a bearded gentleman sitting at a table surmounted by a small stack of books and holding a walking stick between his legs. (Significant tarnishing to edges, spotting and clouding throughout image; sealed in mount.) Mount verso bears printed label for a Toulouse photographer, "Ad.phe Trantoul." -- And 13 others ranging in size from half plate to undersized sixth plate. -- Together, 15 European daguerreotypes of men housed in passe partout mounts. Conditions vary, some with cracks to glass, others unsealed.
