A Large Group of 1940s New York Baseball Programs / Scorecards Including Joe DiMaggio Day Program


A group of 16 baseball programs from the latter era of baseball's golden age from the best of New York including the Yankees, the Giants, and the Brooklyn Dodgers ca. 1946-1949, including the "Joe DiMaggio Day" game of October 1, 1949 which saw the Yankees and Red Sox neck and neck for the pennant, the April 28, 1946 game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants which saw the MLB debuts of Jess Pike and Buddy Blattner, as well as numerous games featuring such players as Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Pee Wee Reese, and others. Overall condition fine.

NOTE: If a bid is placed within one minute of the closing time of a lot, five additional minutes will be added to the designated closing time for that lot. This process will repeat until no new bids are placed in the final minute of a lot. Please note that the extension of one lot’s closing time does not affect other lots’ closing times.
