Rectangle piece of brocade in a lace and floral pattern in white, blue, green, and yellow.
20" W x 11" L
THE THIRD (Small square in center of main image)
Square piece of silk fabric woven with a floral and fauna design in white, pink, green, and orange. A note with the swatch suggests the piece is Spanish or French and from the 18th century.
15.5" W x 16" L
THE FOURTH (Bottom center, main image)
Several pieces of woven blue silk fabric sewn together and with a curved cut on one edge. The fabric is woven with blue, white, and red threads in a flora and fauna pattern. A note with the swatch suggests the piece is Spanish and from c.1720.
18th Century
21" W x 30" L
THE FIFTH
Rectangle piece of silk woven with colored threads to form a pattern of a woman in a long dress and a man with a stringed instrument. The main fabric is a pale orange silk satin woven with blue, white, purple, and green threads. Rows of birds appear between the figures, including peacocks. A note with the swatch suggests the piece is Portuguese or Spanish from c. 1740. The bottom hem is curved, which may suggest this part was worn near the hem of a skirt.
21" W x 30" L
