Sixth plate tintype portrait of a young infantry private wearing an oval "US" belt plate and with his kepi sitting on the table next to him. (Central vertical creasing to plate, with some image surface loss, discoloration to mat and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case (wear, separating to spine). -- Sixth plate tintype seated portrait of a long-bearded soldier wearing a frock coat with gold-highlighted buttons, along with a gold-highlighted ring on his pinkie finger. (Some discoloration and spotting to image, with discoloration to mat and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case (discoloration to velvet pad, surface wear). -- And 2 others, including a sixth plate ambrotype (separated case) and a sixth plate tintype. -- Together, 4 sixth plate images of soldiers wearing frock coats.
