Ruby ambrotype portrait of a seated soldier wearing a New York State belt plate and holding a sword in his lap with one hand. (Minor surface scratches/imperfections, good clarity; resealed 1986.) Housed in a pressed paper case. -- Seated portrait of a soldier in full uniform, including epaulettes and gloves. His forage cap, bearing letters "P," "C," and "G," sits on the table beside him, and he holds what appears to be a high grade knight's head militia officer's sword in his lap. (Some loss to emulsion, good clarity; unsealed.) Housed in a Union case (soiling, nicking). -- Ruby ambrotype portrait of a seated soldier wearing uniform including round belt plate. (Significant surface scratching and chemical deterioration; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case. -- Together, 3 ninth plate ambrotypes of soldiers.
