Ninth plate seated portrait of a young artillery corporal wearing a IX Corps badge or ID badge. His chevrons and pant stripes are tinted red and his pants are tinted blue. (Some bending and creasing to plate, possible residue on surface, image with some loss to lower left, a few other imperfections throughout; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case. -- Sixteenth plate tintype bust portrait of a corporal posed before a painted backdrop, wearing a VI Corps badge. (Some bending and creasing to plate, with surface scratches/loss and discoloration; unsealed.) Housed under mat and glass only, no case. -- Together, a pair of tintype portraits of corporals wearing corps badges.
