Sixth plate seated portrait of a bearded infantryman presenting his rifle to the camera, holding it with both hands. His oval "US" belt plate and cap pouch are clearly visible. (Some abrasions to plate, particularly around edge, otherwise great clarity; unsealed.) Housed in a double sixth plate Union case, Mother Embracing Child 2 [Berg 1-14] (nicking, chipping to edges, barely functioning closure) together with 3 other sixth plate portraits including a young child with a dog and a young child on a rocking horse. -- Ninth plate tintype seated portrait of a goateed infantryman wearing a dark collar and a kepi with infantry insignia highlighted in gold. (Minimal spotting, some light surface scratches.) Housed in a Very Very Rare Union wall frame, Four Ninths in One [7-48] (few nicks) together with 3 other ninth plate tintype portraits of a woman and 2 children. -- Together, 2 tintypes of soldiers housed together with tintype portraits possibly featuring their family members.
