34 1/2 in. unmarked blade, mottled gray in appearance with no damage, 40 1/2 in. overall. 3-branch, wrought iron guard with forward swept iron quillon topping the guard, with an iron pommel cap. Grips comprised of a  pair of laminated, pressed leather "slabs" that were roll-embossed with a checkered pattern and pinned to the tang of the blade (left panel of leather checkered grip has a fissure due to use, condition of sword consistent with age and use).
