Quarter plate daguerreotype portrait of a couple. (Some spotting, tarnishing and other imperfections to plate, cover glass clouded; resealed.) Housed in a leatherette case (spine nearly separated, surface wear/loss). Mat stamped "Upton." -- Quarter plate daguerreotype portrait of an older man. (Focus rather fuzzy, spotting to plate, some clouding to glass and possibly plate; original seals.) Housed in a leatherette case (surface wear, discoloration). Mat with black paper label affixed reading, "W. R. Phipps, Artist, Lex." -- Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a mature woman wearing a bonnet and shawl. (Heavy tarnishing and chemical discoloration around subject, some light surface scratches, clouding to glass, no preserver present; resealed.) Housed in a leatherette case (surface wear, spine with repair). Mat stamped "Plumbe." -- Together, 3 daguerreotypes by identified photographers.
