Seated portrait of a woman wearing a ruffled collar and holding a book, album, or large cased image on her lap, and posed next to a pillar surmounted by a book. (Some clouding to image, no preserver; resealed.) Housed in a half leatherette case. -- Seated portrait of a freckle-faced woman posed with 3 books on the table next to her. She also appears to be holding onto a book with her hands, but this is unclear. (Significant residue to plate, with some occasional spotting/discoloration, and spotting to mat; resealed.) Housed in a half leatherette case. -- A pair of individual portraits of women, each posed holding a book in her hand, with similar looks and facial expressions, likely sisters. (One with red residue to glass, both with no preservers present; both resealed.) Each housed in separate half leatherette cases (significant wear). -- And 18 others. -- Together, 22 sixth plate daguerreotype portraits of women of various ages posed with books and cased images.
