Franklin Elihu Terrill was born January 25, 1876 in Cleveland, Ohio to Franklin and Bridget Ann (Lawless) Terrill. On his 1902 marriage application, the younger Franklin's occupation is listed as "draughtsman" and in later census records his occupation is listed as a "mechanical engineer." Given its precision, it is likely that it was this Franklin Terrill who completed the work offered here while enrolled at the St. Patrick's School.
