Flintlock jaeger rifle with neoclassical two leaf folding notch rear sight and fleur-de-lis blade front sight. Item features double set triggers, sling swivels, and a patchbox to right side. Side panel has a cast brass filigree fitting with a central grotesque mask. Triggerguard is cast brass filigree and nude figure. Bottom edge of stock has a cast brass filigree fitting, and ferrules are all cast brass in neoclassical style. Patchbox cover is carved elk horn panels with cast silver filigree mounted to top. Buttplate has simple engraving to heel. Forend is carved elk horn. Wrist has two elk horn fittings, one floral shaped vignette carved JD/fecit and a grotesque that appears to be a cat.
