**Lefever Arms Company DS Grade Boxlock Sideplate 20 Gauge
20 Gauge. 28" barrel length. SN: 72544. 2.675" chamber lengths. Full Chokes. Blued metal finish with color case hardened frame and walnut round knob stock with splinter forend and bordered multipoint checkering and an aftermarket rubber shock absorber to butt. Double barrel side by side boxlock extractor shotgun with sideplates. Maker marking LEFEVER ARMS CO./SYRACUSE. N.Y. U.S.A. is struck into both sideplates, while the DS grade marking appears beside the serial number on the watertables. Trigger plate exhibits the patent marking PATENTED/1872. 88. 90. 94. 1907. Initials LLH struck into the underside of each barrel. The serial numbers match on all parts. Item features a matted barrel rib with white bead front sight with the matting extending fully to the muzzle.
