The left frame shows the two-line patent mark followed by the {Rampant Colt} within a circle. The triggerguard displays Colt's VP monogram proof mark. Barrel is struck 32 W.C.F. on the left barrel and COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A. in two lines along the top. Serial numbers match where observed, and the item shows an assembly number of 117.
