Lot Description
** Colt Single Action Army in .32 WFC Manufactured in 1907

.32 WCF. 4.75" barrel length. SN: 293743. (Mfg. ca.1907) Blued and color casehardened metal finish with Rampant Colt logo grips. Single action loading gate revolver with kidney shaped ejector rod head, smokeless powder frame, and blackpowder rifling. The left frame shows the two-line patent mark followed by the {Rampant Colt} within a circle. The triggerguard displays Colt's VP monogram proof mark. Barrel is struck 32 W.C.F. on the left barrel and COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A. in two lines along the top. Serial numbers match where observed, and the item shows an assembly number of 117.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is Frosty with light pitting throughout. The metal finish is primarily brown patina with gray dominating over the frame and along the hammer and recoil shield. Mottled gray patina visible in the loading gate recess and on the handling surfaces of the hammer. Light pitting has formed on the left muzzle. The seam is opening up between the triggerguard and the frame. Grips show some handling wear, mars, and some scuffs and nicks along the edges. The action times and indexes correctly.
