9mm Para. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 330g. Blued metal finish with straw and niter blued small parts and mounting checkered walnut grips. Short recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol utilizing a toggle locked action and detachable magazines. The serial numbers match on all parts where visible including the firing pin. The grips are not numbered and likely replaced. Martial markings on the firearm include the Imperial German {Reichsadler} marking on the barrel, barrel extension, and breechblock. Item additionally displays Crown over Gothic letter inspection stamps to all major components. Barrel gauge mark reads 8,83. The toggle link features the DWM initial for Deutche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, with a production date mark of 1917 appearing on the forward barrel extension. Comes with one serial number matching wood baseplug magazine with the + sign indicating it was the spare. Magazine has the number 2464 scratched into its left flank. An additional aluminum baseplug World War II pattern magazine comes with the pistol along with a World War II era P.08 holster. The holster is marked on the rear side with the fuq 1941 manufacturer mark above an {Eagle/WaA14} Waffenampt marking. The P.08 mark is struck into the leather as well. A previous owner has scratched the name Jim Drapp into the rear holster along with the date 1917 and serial number 330. The name J. Drapp also appears in blue ink on the inside of the flap. A luger multitool is present in its pouch.
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. The metal finish shows some patched losses on the sideplate indicative of cleaning, and a weak date mark. There is pinpoint pitting visible on the upper surface of the forward barrel extension. Outer flanks of the frame have a thinning finish worn off on the edges. Patches of brown patina forming on the gripstraps with some adhesive residue on the rear strap. There is some muzzle wear and the front sight blade is primarily gray patina. The trigger and safety finishes have worn down but the remaining straw colored components retain their finish. Grips show some handling wear and mars, along with a chip to the left panel beneath the safety lever. The internals have a layer of old lubricants and Cosmoline. Base plug shows some signs of wastage on the edges and a weak serial marking. Magazine body retains a strong finish. The holster shows scattered abrasions and mars overall, some stains to the interior surface, and cracking along the tie down strap.
