Lot Description
Lot of 4 Bayonets Including: M4 Bayonet, Garand Bayonet, Krag Bayonet, VZ-24 Bayonet
1.) 6.675" blade length. 13" overall with scabbard. Single edge spearpoint blade with 3.25" false edge showing a black finish overall with checkered synthetic grip panels and set in a green fiber scabbard. The rear guard is stamped V A/U.S.M4. The throat of the scabbard is marked USM8A1/PWH.
2.) 9.875" blade length. 15.75" overall with scabbard. Single edge spearpoint fullered blade with black synthetic grip panels and featuring a Parkerized finish overall. The left ricasso has been struck AFH/US surrounding the {Ordnance Bomb} logo. The green fiber scabbard mounts a gray Parkerized throat marked with the {Ordnance Bomb} logo enclosing U.S.
3.) 11.75" blade length. 17.25" overall with scabbard. Single edge spearpoint tipped and fullered blade with bright metal finish and walnut grip panels. Item is struck US on one side of the ricasso and dated 1898 on the other. Comes in a blackened brass scabbard with articulated belt loop.
4.) 11.675" blade length. 17.5" overall with scabbard. Fire blued metal finish to the blade and hilt components with walnut grip panels and a single edge spearpoint blade with fuller. The ricasso is marked CSZ to one side and E {Czech Lion} 25 to the other. Pommel is marked 2L/1507, and the blued steel scabbard is struck ZI {Czech Lion} 30.

Condition Report
1.) Very Good. Item retains most of the black finish with some insertion scratches and mars. Grips show some residue in the checkering along with some residue. The finish on the scabbard has some scattered mars. Snaps have lost their blackened finish with some patina and tarnish forming over them.
2.) Very Good. Blade shows some light wear on the edges with the Parkerizing having been worn down near the tip. Some further scattered mars and losses to the finish. The scabbard shows some abrasions along its outer edges.
3.) Very Good. Blade is Bright with some spots of gray mottling forming and few small bites on the edge. Some brown patina has begun to form on the guard and pommel, and both grip panels show some handling mars and wear. The scabbard displays some light scratches and abrasions exposing the brass beneath the finish.
4.) Very Good. Blade shows some light sharpening wear along the edge with few small bites, some insertion wear, and mottled gray patina over the tip. The guard shows some surface oxidation and patina forming in flecks over the pommel and guard. Grip panels show some handling wear with chips and some dents on the right side. The scabbard has a mottled oxidized finish overall with some mars and nicks on the edges.
