Lot Description
** Smith & Wesson Model 36 with Holster

.38 Special. 1.875" barrel length. SN: 387585. Blued metal finish with casehardened trigger and hammer and mouting rubber Pachmayr grips. Double action five-shot hand ejector revolver featuring topstrap notch and front matted ramp sights. The revolver mounts a pinned barrel and lacks the internal safety lock installed on later Smith & Wesson products. The left barrel bears the manufacturer marking SMITH & WESSON with a caliber mark to the right Smith & Wesson's trademark appears on the left frame. Four-line address mark is struck tot the right frame. Item comes with an unmarked textile holster with Velcro flaps.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling and some patina forming on the outer edges of the rifling. The blued finish has worn down on the flanks of the muzzle and shows light edgewear overall. Further scattered light scratches appear overall, and the cylinder displays a continuous drag line. Casehardening remains strong. There is a nick along the left edge of the topstrap. The grips retain fine details to the texturing with some scattered mars and scratches. Oxidation has formed on the grip screw head. The action times and indexes correctly.
