** East German Makarov Pistol with .22 Conversion Kit
Cold War

9mm Makarov. 3.68" barrel length. SN: FA4515. Blued metal finish with fire blued hammer and safety, checkered Bakelite grips with {Star} logo. Simple blowback operated DA/SA autoloading pistol featuring a slide mounted safety/decocker and military pattern rear notch and front blade sights atop a matted rib. The left frame displays the {Diamond} mark and K-100 within a rectangle marking indicative of East German manufacture. The rear frame features date mark of 65. Importer markings visible on the right frame including 9. MM MAK, GERMANY., and CAI ST ALB VT. Item lacks a magazine. Comes with a .22 Caliber adapter for the Makarov pistol in a black cardboard box with red synthetic liner. Included in the case are: one .22 caliber magazine, .22 caliber barrel insert with retaining nut, a slide marked .22LR MAKAROV/Adaptor/K 086. to the left and DUNAV I.T. Lynnwood, WA to the right, a return spring, and a wire cleaning rod. 

Condition Report

Very Good. Bores of both the original barrel and the .22 barrel are Minty with sharp rifling throughout. The conversion kit retains its blued finish with few light scratches on the right slide. The frame displays some light edgewear along the frame and to the forward slide. Grips show some skips to the checkering on the right panel and a chip along the edge of the right side. The conversion kit case is Excellent.
